Where it all began
A love for beauty, cultivated through craft.
Ikigai Floral Design began long before I called it a business. It started at my dining table — in the quiet joy of arranging flowers for the people I care about, turning simple moments into something meaningful. What began as a personal expression slowly grew into a devotion to the craft — to understanding how form, color, and texture can shape emotion.
My early explorations eventually led me to FlowerSchool Los Angeles, where technique and philosophy came together. There, I deepened my understanding of floristry as an artform — one that bridges nature and feeling, and one that constantly evolves.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with visionary florists across Los Angeles. Each project has been a dialogue between scale and intimacy, atmosphere and design. Alongside creating, I discovered a deep fulfillment in teaching — helping emerging florists refine their technique and discover their own artistic voice.
Ikigai Floral Design is my expression of purpose and presence. Every arrangement is shaped with intention, rooted in sustainability, conscious craftsmanship, and reverence for the natural world. I believe beauty created with integrity has the power to inspire, to comfort, and to endure.
